Produced only during sufficiently harsh winters, Ice Wine Brumariu is made from grapes harvested naturally frozen on the vine. This traditional method concentrates sugars, aromas, and acidity to offer a luscious, highly refined dessert wine.
Rich and elegant, it perfectly illustrates Carlevana's expertise in crafting great Moldovan dessert wines.
Tasting notes
The color is deep gold with amber highlights.
The nose reveals a generous aromatic palette of honey, dried apricot, quince, candied fruits, orange zest, accompanied by delicate notes of white flowers and sweet spices.
On the palate, the attack is velvety and indulgent, quickly balanced by a natural acidity that brings freshness and length. The finish is persistent, elegant, and particularly harmonious.
